Nydwyn Green Dragon Studio was born in May, 2005 as an outlet for the creative talents of C.J. Bloomer after graduating college with a bachelor's degree in Studio Art. A long-time student of Illustration, C.J. apprenticed with Charles Vess during the summers in-between college semesters learning the ropes of a successful Art Career (and picking up a technique or two). Coupled with extensive practice at laying out publications, illustrating on a deadline, a wonderfully supporting lady, and general disdain for the common workforce, it was natural that NGDS would become a success.
Today, Nydwyn Green Dragon Studio is a full service illustration studio intent on producing superior quality work in the traditional manner. Current projects have led into the realm of sequential art with NGDS's flagship graphic novel The Price of Tea, and an upcoming collection of short stories and poetry in a heavily illustrated format that pushes the limits between conventional reading and graphic novellas.
